Very elegant – for about £10
I bought the blouse pattern and then wasn’t sure what material to use. I nearly bought some real lace, but that’s so hard to sew. Then i found this black lacy material and paid £2.50 per metre. So i bought a few metres. The blouse is great, and relatively warm. Then i made a skirt to match. So elegant for hardly any money. I’ve worn it a few times at Christmas and every one loves it. It travels well and washes well.
My previous post commented that the skirt was a bit big. Despite not liking making alterations, i have altered it and am really pleased that i did.
