Sewing and textiles with Ann
I’ve just signed up for I think its a brilliant idea to get us all to wear these lovely clothes that we have made. My own work tends to get worn either a lot, or quite rarely, so this is a chance to air some of the less worn items, especially now that I am driving to work, and not having to limit my clothes to a travel wardrobe by train, underground and foot in London. I have made a caveat: I am pretty sure that I will be doing some proper country walking some days. Now if it’s warm, and not threatening rain, I will try to wear Me Made tops. But if not, then I will wear suitable RTW clothing specially for outdoor use. I’ve not attempted to make any such clothes, and don’t intend to. Sorry! From time to time I will blog about it in this post, maybe with the odd photo, but as I don’t have a resident photographer, and its not going to be daily. Maybe I will photograph the washing on the line… Now there’s a thought! Quite excited!
As the crowded wardrobe picture shows, I will have plenty of choice. I estimate that about 70% of what’s in the picture is made by me. I am also having a practice run of ‘Me Made late April’ and its going OK!
