Cotton skirt

A simple little summer skirt. This one was a bit like going into a shop to browse, and coming out with a skirt, when you hadn’t intended to buy anything.
Friday evening I was sorting through some sewing stuff, whilst half thinking about going to London the next day, when a card from a fabric shop in Wanstead fell out of the sewing drawer. I was planning to go close to Wanstead anyway, so I made a deliberate effort to visit the shop. And now a have a new skirt!
And now of course, I am wondering what I have got that goes with it…. Well you know what happens next, don’t you? Watch this space.
